In 2007, Archie’s album “Journey” was released and included a compelling documentary, “Liyarn Ngarn” about a journey Archie made in 2015 with his friends, the late English actor Pete Postlethwaite and political leader and Yawuru elder, Patrick Dodson. Liyarn Ngarn in the Yawuru language of the West Kimberly region around Broome, means "Coming Together of the Spirit".

They journeyed over the troubled landscape of Aboriginal Australia in the hope of reawakening a discussion of the many issues faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and of Reconciliation.

LIYARN NGARN tells of the devastation and inhumanity bought upon First Nations people in every aspect of their daily lives. Personal stories of injustice are recounted by Pete Postlethwaite as told to him by Patrick Dodson and Bill Johnson, an old English school friend, whose adopted Aboriginal son, Louis died tragically.

Archie’s powerful lyrics and voice on the album Journey tell of this often painful and at times inspiring journey.

For the first time since 2007 both the Liyarn Ngarn DVD and a downloadable link are available for sale through Archie’s website with all proceeds from sales going to the Archie Roach Foundation.
